Accommodation Supervisor

Salary: €16 per hour

Location: Kildare

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team during assigned shifts. You will be required to clean rooms 1-2 days per week.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
• Coordinate daily room assignments and prioritize special requests or VIP services.
• Train, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to perform at their best.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens; report any shortages or maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, COSHH guidelines, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to resolve guest or operational issues quickly and efficiently.
• Support scheduling and reporting for the department when required.

Candidate:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a hotel or similar environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in maintaining high standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a small team and delegate effectively.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Flexible availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and health & safety standards.
