Junior Site Foreman

Carnehill Joinery Ltd is a busy production unit, that produces joinery, kitchen and bedroom furniture based in Scotstown, Co. Monaghan. We offer supply and fit and supply only produces.

Job Description: Carnehill Joinery Ltd are currently looking for a Junior Site Foreman to join the expanding team. This is an exciting role in a busy Joinery company. The position will require commuting to various sites to supervise and ensure that works are completed to a high standard. Joinery experience desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of labourers on site
• Measure and take in deliveries and materials
• Supervision of sub-contractors
• Inspect sub-contractor work and sign-off
• Working closely with company contracts managers and liaise with main contractor
• Report to contracts manager/management team regularly on progress and information requests
• Management and control of day-to-day Health and Safety standards
• Co-ordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Must be fit to plan ahead for works

Required Experience:

· Must have a trade, as this is a working foreman role, working on the tools will be required

· Can do attitude and lead by example

· Excellent communication skills

· Must have Safepass & Manual handling

· Proficient in use of laptop /Ipad

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: Depending on experience
