Position: Locum Doctor
Location: [Insert Location], 90-Bed Nursing Home
Rate: €95 per hour
Hours: Minimum of 2 visits per week, plus availability for emergencies

Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Locum Doctor to provide high-quality medical care to elderly residents in our 90-bed nursing home. This role involves routine visits as well as emergency support to ensure the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct at least two weekly visits to the nursing home to provide medical assessments, ongoing care, and treatment plans for residents.
• Be on-call for emergencies, providing swift and effective medical intervention when required.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff and caregivers to deliver holistic and patient-centered care.
• Address the unique healthcare needs of elderly residents, including those with dementia and other geriatric conditions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.

Essential Requirements:

• Active medical registration.
• Experience working with elderly patients (desirable but not essential).
• Interest and/or knowledge in gerontology, elderly care, and dementia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Flexibility to respond to emergencies as needed.
