Field Service Mechanic/Technician

Job Title: Field Based Service Technician - Floor Cleaning Equipment

Location: West and mid west of Ireland

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a skilled Field Based Service Technician to provide service and maintenance of floor cleaning equipment to our customers throughout Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining commercial floor cleaning machines, as well as conducting preventative maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to client locations to perform repairs and maintenance on floor cleaning equipment
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
• Work closely with our service team to ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Provide preventative maintenance and repair services for commercial floor cleaning machines
• Use your expertise in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or technical experience to diagnose problems and provide solutions
• Utilize in-house training and manufacturer factory training to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and techniques
• Maintain company-supplied service van and equipment

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 2 years of electrical experience (preferred)
• Sales or merchandising experience is an advantage
• A valid driving license is required
• A good working knowledge of how machines work and the ability to diagnose problems
• A keen problem solver with a track record of successful repairs and maintenance
• Previous experience in a similar field is an advantage

This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule. We offer in-house training and manufacturer factory training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our clients. Pay: From €30,000.00 per year
