Production Team Leader

Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking to recruit a Production Team Leader to join their team in Galway on a permanent contract.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team to support your colleagues in delivering on objectives.
• Coordinating activities such as operating machines, production, processing, packaging and sorting.
• Leading members of the production department.
• Ensuring safety rules and procedures are followed.
• Overseeing daily operations to meet specific goals.
• Managing work schedules and staffing needs.
• Planning production sequences to optimise productivity.
• Assessing team member performance.

Requirements:

• 1 year experience as Team Leader / Supervisor in a food production environment or experience in hospitality environment such as chef.
• Excellent people management skills and communication skills.
• Flexibility in working hours as overtime will be required in peak times.
