Electrical Maintenance Technicians

Our client, Castleblaney Plant Hire Limited t/a Monaghan Hire based in Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan, is currently seeking Electrical Maintenance Technicians for immediate start for their two locations in Co. Monaghan. 


Qualifications:
There are no minimum academic requirements. Training will be provided on-the-job. A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or similar is required. No formal qualifications are required for this role.


General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience:

To provide preventive and reactive maintenance to a plant hire facility 
To work with electrical engineers to perform technical tasks and aid in the designing, testing, manufacturing, operation and repair of electrical devices and facilities 
To design and prepare blueprints of electrical installations and circuitry according to required specifications
To monitor technical aspects of the installation, utilisation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure satisfactory performance and compliance with regulations 
Essential knowledge for the role includes design drawings, electrical discharge and electrical equipment components
Candidates must have knowledge of electrical testing methods, electrical wiring diagrams and electricity principles 
Essential skills include aligning components, applying soldering techniques and adjusting engineering designs
Candidates must be competent to ensure material compliance, measure electrical characterises and perform test runs
Candidates must have experience in recording test data, testing electrical equipment and reading drawings and blueprints 
Previous experience in providing electrical maintenance in a plant hire setting is a plus
2 years of previous relevant experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or similar role is required


Annual remuneration: €34,000.00 per annum; Pay rate €16.77 per hour
