Support Worker/Health Care Assistant Celbridge, Co. Kildare
Terms: 30 hours per week plus sleepovers; initial 1-year fixed term contract
ROLE SUMMARY
Working as part of a team to supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting in the community. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic person who can work on their own initiative with good common sense and a good sense of humour.
MAIN DUTIES:
Support Workers must have a full driver licence and be prepared to drive company vehicles
Support Workers support the persons in all areas of their lives - in their home and community.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Experience in the health care sector
Skills to support people with disabilities in the community
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Full, clean driver's license
Available to work residential hours which will include shift work/ sleepovers and weekends as part of an established friendly team.
Proficient in using standard office IT applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent organisational and time management skills
SALARY:
