Successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the supervisor in the day to day running of an Early Years service comprising of full time and part time children aged 6 months to 5 years. He/she will support the curriculum and regulatory requirements for the service. He/she will work as part of a team of up to two other members. He/she will need to have sufficient communication skill to liaise with parents of the service, outside agencies and the Head Office Team. He/ She should have knowledge of the TUSLA Quality Framework and all State Funded Schemes such as the National Childcare Scheme and the ECCE Scheme. Knowledge of Aistear and Siolta practices are essential, and knowledge of High Scope is a distinct advantage. Qualifications Required: Minimum of a QQI Level 5 in Early Years is essential. Successful Candidate will ideally have First Aid responder training. Tusla Children’s first training is essential. Manual Handling and Fire Safety training are an advantage but can be completed upon successful application. Early Years Experience is preferred.
