Pest Control Service Technician

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Waterford/Tipperary

• Inspection and Assessment – conducting thorough inspections of properties to identify pest problems, determine the extent of infestations, and locate entry points or areas of concern and where required the development of treatment plans and conduct follow-up inspections
• Application of Treatments – application of treatments, baits, traps, or other control measures to eliminate or manage pests.
• Communication with Clients – liaising with customers regarding treatment plans, actions to be taken, safety precautions etc. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping – maintaining records of services provided via our Elis Pest Control Portal
• Compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations - Education and Training – participation in ongoing training and certification programs, including the Elis Pest Control Academy to stay current with industry best practices, new products, and safety protocols. ( All costs borne by Elis)

• Adaptability and willingness to learn – no two days are the same in pest control
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills – we need people who enjoy challenges – pest control is very much detective work, finding solutions for our customers.
• Detail-oriented mindset – are you someone who enjoys methods and precision?
• Reliability and Punctuality – Our customers need their technician to show up on time and complete tasks as scheduled.
• Excellent Communication Skills – you will be dealing with customers daily so empathy and patience are key.
• Full clean driving license – a company van will be supplied
• Training – While experience is an advantage, full training will be provided with opportunities to progress within the organisation.
