Electrical Commissioning Technician (Data Centre)

Job Title: E&I Commissioning Technician - Data Center Construction

Locations: Netherlands , Sweden, Europe

Role Summary:

The E&I Commissioning Technician will be responsible for the testing, verification, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems within a new data center construction project. This role ensures systems are installed, configured, and operate according to design specifications, meeting all safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-commissioning checks and functional testing of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Test and calibrate instruments, control loops, and electrical systems (LV, MV).
• Verify installation and configuration of power distribution systems, UPS, generators, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues during commissioning.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Complete commissioning documentation, including test reports and checklists.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and site-specific procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Technical qualification (e.g., diploma, trade certificate) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in E&I commissioning, preferably within data center, industrial, or similar construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and codes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Safe Pass.
