Barista

Golden Brown in Cabinteely is seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced barista to join our team full-time. Alongside crafting exceptional coffee and delivering excellent customer service, this role includes managing our social media presence and handling light administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of coffee equipment.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming café environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Keep up-to-date with coffee trends and techniques.

Social Media Management:

• Create, curate, and schedule engaging posts across platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
• Photograph and showcase new menu items, events, or promotions.
• Respond to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor social media analytics to track growth and engagement.

Administrative Duties:

• Assist with stock management and ordering supplies as needed.
• Maintain daily records, such as cash register counts or stock logs.
• Help coordinate staff schedules or communicate key updates.
• Perform other general office tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a barista, with a deep understanding of coffee preparation and service.
• Creative flair for managing social media accounts, with demonstrated experience or examples of previous work.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for administrative responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, full-time.
