Here at Iconic Media Group – Ireland’s biggest local digital and newspaper publisher – we’re investing in our continuing growth and looking for an ambitious Multimedia Journalist to really get results. You’ll be building up your skills and making a name for yourself in the award-winning newsroom of one of our top regional news franchises – The Tipperary Star and Tipperary Live.

So, what do you need to get started? The writing and storytelling skills to produce a range of content, from big local scoops to press releases and announcements. The confidence to build contacts and interview everyone from sports stars to members of the public. And a passion that matches ours – to inform, inspire and promote your community.

You should have an understanding of digital, video and print content, ideally with experience and proficiency with content management and publishing systems. However, if you can bring a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and a commitment to develop your skillset, full familiarisation and training will be provided. Experience in court reporting and local government meetings will be a distinct advantage, as would a driving licence and your own car.
