Production Team Leader

We have exciting opportunities for a Team Leader to join the current supervisory team. Successful candidates must be driven and willing to take on responsibility and overall, grow as a leader in the organisation.

The Role involves:

• Taking responsibility for people and production management with adherence to all relevant quality and Health and Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment and that housekeeping is in order.
• Managing and ensuring production targets are met in the area by organization.
• Follow production schedules and anticipate and solve problems as they arise.
• Organise materials for effective production, preparation and handover to the following shift.
• Supporting operators with production duties, enhancing quality and productivity through effective communication.
• Monitor Time and Attendance for payroll, holidays and acceptable levels, maintaining discipline in safety and quality.
• Being part of the supervisory team, demonstrating excellent communication and cooperation.
• Resolving issues and keeping detailed records of events and non-conformances.
• Preparation, monitoring and recording all production KPI’s.

The successful candidates must:

• Be driven for success and willing to take responsibility.
• Be self-motivated for continuous improvement.
• Be an excellent communicator both with their own staff and amongst the supervisory and management team.
• Be computer literate.
• Have excellent knowledge and commitment with regards to Quality & Health & Safety standards.
• Have an excellent conduct and time & attendance record.
• Be flexible for pre-arranged training/meetings on outside of regular hours.
