Scrum Master

Description

We are a dynamic multi-level marketing company specializing in wellness products sold through our e-commerce platform. Our team is distributed across Ireland, Mexico, and the US, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers. We are seeking an experienced and confident Scrum Master to join our team. This role will be pivotal in establishing and running agile processes, training team members, and ensuring the successful implementation of agile methodologies. The Scrum Master will work with a team of developers and testers, coordinating with a product team based in both Ireland and the US. This is a remote position based in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the adoption and implementation of agile methodologies within the team.
• Conduct and manage agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Train and mentor team members on agile practices and principles, ensuring a thorough understanding and effective application.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Utilize Jira for ticket management and workflow optimization.
• Identify and address any impediments or blockers that may hinder the team's progress.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to experiment and innovate.
• Track and report on key metrics to demonstrate the impact of agile practices on team efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of agile processes with existing tools and technologies (e.g., GitHub, Azure Pipelines).

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong track record of successfully implementing agile methodologies.
• Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with distributed teams across different time zones.
• Ability to demonstrate the benefits of agile practices through measurable improvements in team performance.
• Familiarity with Jira and other agile tools.
• Experience with C#.NET, GitHub, Azure Pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex team dynamics.
