HGV / Truck Driver

LPP have an exciting opportunity for C/CE licenced drivers in Waterford and throughout Ireland. Drivers will have the opportunity to work as part of the Irish Deposit Return scheme which has been introduced by the Government, collecting clean in-scope packaging material from retail outlets regionally.

Working out of our Waterford depot, with deliveries/collections in your region, we provide excellent terms and conditions for the right person.

You will be provided with and operate a modern, regularly maintained, rigid HGV truck.

This is a full-time, permanent position with regular hours and no requirement for staying out in the truck overnight.

The work will be scheduled on regular routes, recurring on a weekly basis.

The vehicles are fitted with route management and navigation systems to assist the driver.

We expect professional communication and adherence to company policies and procedures while always following Health & Safety guidelines. You will be required to be respectful of your colleagues and customers.

There is a substantial employee referral scheme in place as we are looking for multiple hires across Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out assigned routes on a daily basis.
• Responsible for daily vehicle condition checks as outlined by the Manager
• Be 100% compliant with Health & Safety, road safety and Environmental Regulations.

Requirements:

• Full HGV Truck Licence
• A driver’s CPC card.
• Digital tachograph card
• Good Communication Skills
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
