Our client, a leading electrical company in Monaghan, are in search of a site electrician to join their team

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems and machinery. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems.

The role will be based in Monaghan with l travel required across Europe to work on projects but home every week. There is an excellent package on offer for the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission electrical systems and components
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including power distribution problems, circuit failures, and equipment malfunctions, to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
• Carry out electrical wiring on products
• Carry out on site electrical installations
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner, ensuring good communication and maintain good relations with teammates, work colleagues, customers, and other contractors
• Ensure good house-keeping practices

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Electrician
• Passionate about electrical engineering
• Willing to do occasional travel to customer sites
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently is needed
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
