Monaghan & Sons Castlebar Ltd is a family run business established in 1948. We are the main Skoda and Hyundai dealers for Mayo and have been located in Castlebar since 2002.

We are fully authorised sales and aftersales dealers for Skoda and Hyundai and fully authorised aftersales dealers for Volkswagen Passenger car and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles

We have state of the art facilities in an excellent location with the latest diagnostics and special tools for both ICE and BEV cars.

This job entails working in a very busy dealership, so experience is essential, but ongoing training is provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast paced environment.

Monaghan and Sons Castlebar require a Qualified motor technician, to join our busy and expanding team.

Requirements

• Qualified Vehicle technician, currently working in a franchised dealership or independent service centre and looking to progress your career.
• Must have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Will be proficient in modern diagnostics.
• Ability to clearly complete job card write-ups with a thorough understanding of the requirements of factory standards for warranty write-ups.
• Ability to identify and explain additional work required to service advisors or customers as required.
• Full clean driving licence & Valid EU work permit required.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English required.
