Senior Financial Analyst

Brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded, qualified accountant to step into a high-impact Senior Financial Analyst role with a growing tech company based in Dublin City Centre.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this position offers significant visibility across the business and will be instrumental in shaping strategic decision-making.

As Senior Financial Analyst, you will take ownership of analysing business performance across key pillars, collaborating closely with both the commercial and finance teams. Your insights will drive improvements in reporting, cost allocation, and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse revenue performance drivers across business units — including churn, new business, and variable billing — and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
• Evaluate gross margins by business pillar and recommend strategies for margin improvement.
• Support M&A activities, including acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing of banking facilities.
• Design and implement commission structures aligned with company goals.
• Analyse the sales pipeline to enable accurate revenue forecasting.
• Build short-term revenue forecasting models for integration into group cash flow projections.
• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring timely completion.
• Assist the CFO with quarterly forecasts and provide recommendations on resource allocation.
• Deliver monthly performance analysis for inclusion in Board reporting.

Candidate Profile:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant with 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with experience handling large data sets.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a strong advantage.
