Role Overview

As a Delivery Driver / Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient deliveries, setting up catering orders at client locations, and restocking pantry items as required. You will be the face of Roots Kitchen to our corporate clients, so professionalism and great customer service skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver & Set Up Catering Orders: Safely transport and set up catering orders at client locations, ensuring a professional presentation.
• Client Pantry Restocking: Monitor and restock corporate clients with pantry items such as snacks, beverages, and other essentials.
• Maintain Delivery Vehicles: Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to clients, addressing any delivery-related queries or requests.
• Order Accuracy & Quality Control: Double-check orders before departure to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Assist in the Kitchen: Support kitchen staff with light duties when required, such as packing orders and organising supplies.
• Follow Health & Safety Standards: Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations during transportation and setup.

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a similar role (catering, food delivery, or hospitality) is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks, including loading and unloading deliveries.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of local routes and navigation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From €14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
