Dublin 8 location(Hybrid with 1/2 days onsite).

Our high profile client based in Dublin city is actively seeking an experienced Test Manager to join their team.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Testing Manager with a passion for designing test plans, hands on testing and managing and mentoring testers. You will have responsibility for working with stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements and technology and generate and implement test plans.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

1. Take a lead role in the planning and monitoring of testing activities throughout the project. Monitoring and managing outputs of testers and taking preventative and corrective action where necessary.
2. Ensure that new and amended systems, configurations, packages, or services, together with any interfaces, perform as specified (including security requirements) and that the risks associated with deployment are adequately understood and documented.
3. Lead Test Analysis and Test management activities within the team. Run meetings/workshops to drive out testing requirements and ensure that solutions are tested comprehensively and of high quality to meet stakeholder requirements.
4. Drive testing process and delivery improvements, to ensure the continued development and enhancement of services provided.
5. Build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clients receive a high standard of testing service.
6. Strong documentation creation & management to all Organisational standards. Including, creating test cases.

Required Skills and Experience for the role:

• IT Degree or equivalent, or strong relevant business or technical experience.
• Ideally 3 years working within the financial services sector.
• Preferably 5 years relevant business testing experience.
• Expert analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Expert organisational skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple tasks to tight timelines and to coordinate cross teamwork.
• Expert communication, technical writing and influencing skills.

Technical Competencies

Extensive experience as a test manager involving defining test strategies, test data, test cases, and executing test plans.
