Are you a proactive and dependable individual who enjoys making a difference? We are looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our team!

Position Type: Part time (20 hours a week)
Start Date: 1st July 2025

About the Role:
As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, clean, neat, tidy and welcoming. We seek someone who takes initiative, solves problems independently, and can adapt to changing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general cleanliness and security of the premises & grounds (e.g. washing windows, power hosing, weeding etc)
• Perform minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks (e.g. painting, etc)
• To open and close the school as directed by the school principal
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or unexpected issues.
• Assist with setting up spaces for events or special activities.
• Manage supplies and liaise with external contractors when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• A self-starter who can identify and address tasks without waiting for instructions.
• Flexible availability to respond to occasional after-hours needs.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Prior experience in caretaking, maintenance, or similar roles preferred.
