Qualified Senior Medical Social Worker

Servisource supply fully qualified and compliant temporary healthcare staff to Healthcare Facilities in Ireland.

Responsibilities of Social Worker - Senior Medical

• Advocate for individuals, families and groups
• Conducting assessments and evaluations
• Providing emotional support, counselling and therapy to individuals or groups
• Deliver social work service in collaboration with other disciplines / agencies as required, in appropriate settings reflecting the needs of the service user
• Attend case conferences, meetings court, tribunals etc. as required.
• Be responsible for the management of the day-to-day provision of the social work service in conjunction with other Senior Medical Social Worker(s)
• Take responsibility for the supervision and line management of staff as required
• Write accurate, clear, concise and purposeful reports.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of a Senior Social Worker role in a hospital setting.

Requirements -

• Drivers Licence/Access to own car
• Qualified Social Worker .
• CORU registration
• 3 years post qualification experience ideally within a hospital setting
• Experience working in children and families services
• x3 Written References from Education/Previous Employment.
• Proof of Vaccinations - MMR, BCG, Hep B and Varciella.
• Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting
• 35 hours a week
