About the Role
As a Validations Administrator, you will be a key part of the team that ensures all electrical certification meets required standards. You’ll support a wide range of tasks from validating documents to resolving contractor queries and keeping systems accurate and up to date.
Job Description
Responsibilities

Validate Pre-Connection and Post-Connection Certificates
-
Review and assess contractor-submitted certificates (both electronic and paper-based) for completeness and compliance with regulations.

Ensure accuracy and validity.

Process Grant Applications
-
Validate grant submissions, check contractor eligibility and supporting documentation.

Respond to Contractor Queries
-
Provide professional, timely responses to incoming emails and calls.
-
Investigate issues and escalate to the appropriate manager or inspection team where necessary.

System Management and Data Entry
-
Enter validation outcomes into internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
-
Ensure that certificate and contractor records are current, clear, and accessible to other departments.

Handle Outstanding and Problematic Cases
-
Track and follow up on missing or problematic documentation (e.g. expired insurance, non-conformance reports).

Coordinate with Customer Service and contractors to resolve outstanding issues or payments.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
-
Work closely with colleagues across departments to support shared goals and operational efficiency.

Take part in regular training (e.g., data security, customer care) and contribute ideas for improving validation processes.

General Administration and Support
-
Support ad-hoc tasks, reporting, and team training initiatives as required.

Qualifications
Required
-
Minimum Leaving Certificate
-
2 years of administrative experience
-
Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Desirable:

Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
-
Familiarity with document validation, certification, or grant processing – not essential
