Job description

Sherpa Kids provides Before School Care, After school and Holiday Childcare to children in the areas of Dublin during term time and non-term time (school holidays).

• Start Date: Immediately to allow for adequate training, reference checks and garda vetting.
• Job Types: Permanent
• Salary: Starting from €15.33 p/h
• Locations: Dublin 1
• Hours: 27.5 hours weekly: Onsite in the after school 1- 5pm (plus additional non contact hours to allow ample time for administrative tasks and other duties).

Duties include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day activities in a caring and fun environment.
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Requirements:

• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 1 year)
• Experience working in a team and leading a team effectively.
• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• The Co-Ordinator needs to be available and authorised to work for 30 hours weekly during Term time and non-Term time.
• Work Permit/ VISA essential (for more than 20 hours a week)
• Reference checks x2 required before starting.
