Gym Assistant – Snap Fitness Sligo

Launched in 2003, Snap Fitness is a fast growing 24-7 fitness franchise and has an estimated 2000 locations operating worldwide. We provide state-of-the-art facilities, including an Olympic lifting platform, full range of functional free weights, squat rack, TRX, group fitness classes, small group personal training area and lots more.

The Role:

Snap Fitness are seeking a dynamic, passionate and motivated Gym Assistant for our Sligo club. You must have the experience, energy and enthusiasm to work in the day-to-day operations of a busy gym. We are flexible in offering a full-time or part-time role, dependant on the right individual. Our Gym Assistant would be required to work morning, evening and some weekends (not compulsory) based on a monthly rota. This role also includes the opportunity to do Personal Training outside the scheduled rota hours if PT qualified.

Key Responsibilities Include:

· Assisting the Manager to enure the gym runs smoothly

·Assisting with driving sales and helping with marketing through local community.

· Working with personal trainers.

· Handling Social media content & engagement.

· Creating and implementing of the group fitness timetable.

· Maintaining gym standards – cleanliness, maintenance, OH&S etc.

· Customer service and administration.

· Calls to leads, Calls to members who are overdue due to failed payments

What we are looking for:

· Sales experience

· Fitness Qualification (non-essential)

· First Aid Certificate (non-essential)

· Outstanding customer service and people skills

·Comfortable with making calls

· Ability to work within a dynamic team, to deliver an enjoyable member experience and ensure the smooth running of the club and staff!

· A proven ability to hit targets

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: €13.50-€14.40 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
