SOS Cookies is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Kitchen Porter/Cookie Dough Roller to join our team. This role is essential to our operations and involves a variety of tasks to ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Cookie Dough Rolling: Roll cookie dough into uniform balls, ensuring consistency in size and quality.
Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen clean and organised by washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste in accordance with health and safety standards.
Assisting the Kitchen Team: Support chefs and kitchen staff with prep work and other tasks as required.
Stock/Delivery Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and storing ingredients.
Food Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety protocols and maintain a hygienic work environment.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure kitchen equipment and tools are cleaned and properly maintained.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen setting preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Schedule:
Must be flexible and available to work weekdays and weekends.
Daytime availability is essential.
