Auction House photographic assistant. Full Time .

South Dublin Auction is looking for an energetic person to join our team.

This is a full time role and you must be able to work all the hours required, So if you are a student and have class during those times please don't apply.

We are a busy weekly auction, with almost 1000 lots per week. We are looking for a hardworking, positive person to join our Photography team. You will be joining a team of two and will help the team take almost 3000 pictures a week for our very busy weekly auction. I would say its mostly staging, with passing the the photographers the lots to be photographed , holding things, moving things etc so its a physically demanding job. You will learn all aspects of auction photography including how we integrate Ai in to our photography. So you will pick up lots of skills and knowledge about the auction world. There is also lots of room for advancement and more money if you work hard and pick up the job well.

This is a physically demanding job, you are on your feet all day and will be required to move items on a daily basis. The hours would be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday , Thursday Friday 9-5 with an hour for lunch. Those hours will vary a little with somedays starting at 10 am and leaving early if the tasks are complete, It would be roughly 32-35 hours per week. It's a busy environment but the great thing about working in an auction house is the variety of goods you see every week. €14 an hour to start.
