Day Services Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the CEO, this full-time permanent role requires 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The key responsibilities include implementing best practices to deliver high-quality, person-centred services in alignment with all statutory regulations, New Directions and Service Policies/Procedures. The Day Service Manager will be in charge of all the operational aspects of the day services, providing leadership to ensure top-notch, person-centred services while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Applicants must meet specific criteria to be considered for the position:

• A relevant 3rd level qualification in Health and or RNID Nursing. Master's degree in Nursing and/or Health related field is desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar setting, demonstrating leadership in delivering person-centred support.
• Previous experience in staff management and working within set resources.
• Experience in supporting individuals with Challenging Behaviours.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation such as Health and Safety and Employment laws.
• Demonstrated motivational and leadership skills.
• Possession of an up-to-date, valid Irish Driving License.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
