Job Description:

The Site and Special Projects Supervisor will report to the GAC Dublin Site Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for smooth running of the Citywest office, including facilities and reception. They will also be involved in recruitment and on-boarding for GAC Dublin. Large part of the job is to prepare Business Plan and be responsible for managing cost related to GAC in Dublin. This role is very independent and contains multiple, cross-functional responsibilities. The successful candidate will support other GAC functions in ad-hoc requests and projects, depending on the needs.

Job duties:

Prepare Business Plan for GAC Dublin, submit and work with corporate accounting team during approval process, proving explanations and justifications for budget requested.

Monthly variance reviews for GAC Dublin to ensure cost is in line with Business Plan, answer any queries.

Monthly P&L variance reviews for GAC Dublin.

Review and approve all POs and invoices related to cost of running Citywest site in APPO and Coupa.

Working with HR on recruitment for GAC Dublin. Maintain relationship with Recruitment Agencies, keep track of headcount for GAC. Support management team on Workday queries.

Responsible on-boarding process for new GAC starters.

Manage relationship with vendors, review and sign contracts. Work closely with BaSe team.

Oversee and support work of receptionist and facilities administrator for Citywest office.

Organize and facilitate events for Citywest office.

Source and organize CPD courses for GAC Dublin staff.

Support Site Controller in smooth running of the site as well as building cross-functional relationships.

Provide weekly status/risk update to line manager.

Knowledge Requirements

Required:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of finance and accounting experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in finance, accounting or business

  • Qualified or partly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

  • Detailed knowledge of accounting processes

  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred:

  • Masters degree in finance, accounting or business analytics with minimum 3 years’ experience

  • US GAAP experience/shared service environment

  • Experience working on Business Plan
