Digital Initiatives Specialist – Quality Control Laboratory (QCL)

Westbourne IT Global Services is seeking a Digital Initiatives Specialist to support key digital transformation initiatives within the Quality Control Laboratory (QCL) in Limerick. This role will play a vital part in advancing the Digital Roadmap by leading efforts in data management, standardization, and system integration in collaboration with both local and global teams.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data mapping, digital solutions deployment, and QC business processes, along with strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Mapping Coordination:

o Support the Data Mapping Process within QCL and coordinate across teams to ensure accurate and consistent data structures.

• Data Management Standardisation:

oDrive data integrity, governance, and standardization to align with business and regulatory requirements.

oWork closely with Tech@Lilly to ensure smooth integration of digital data structures.

• Digital Solutions System Integration:

oCollaborate with global teams to implement and support digital solutions, including Nymiband integration.

oSupport the local deployment, validation, and maintenance of digital tools in QCL.

• Project Management Stakeholder Engagement:

oLead digital transformation projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to QCL’s Digital Roadmap.

oAct as a liaison between QC teams, IT, and global stakeholders, facilitating smooth communication and adoption of new technologies.

Required Skills Qualifications:

✔ Data Management Standardization – Expertise in data governance, structured data handling, and regulatory compliance in QC environments. ✔ Project Management – Experience managing digital transformation projects, especially in QC applications. ✔ QC Application Knowledge – Familiarity with Quality Control systems, workflows, and data structures. ✔ QC Business Process Knowledge – Strong understanding of QC operations, compliance, and digital initiatives in a GxP environment. ✔ Collaboration Communication – Ability to work with global IT teams, business stakeholders, and QC professionals to ensure successful deployment of digital solutions
