As an Overseas Education & Career Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to students looking to study abroad. You will assist them in choosing the right courses, institutions, and countries that match their aspirations and needs. Your role is crucial in making sure students are well-prepared for their educational & career journey overseas by choosing the right course, internship, job opportunities and visa categories.

Responsibilities

• Consult with students to understand their educational & career goals and preferences.
• Provide detailed information about various international educational institutions and programs.
• Have strong knowledge in various types of visas available in Europe, Australia & New Zealand.
• Assist students with application processes and ensure timely submission of documents.
• Offer guidance on visa applications and travel arrangements.
• Conduct seminars and webinars to inform students about studying abroad.
• Maintain updated knowledge of admission requirements and new developments in the education sector abroad.
• Coordinate with educational institutions to facilitate student admissions.
• Provide support to students post-admission, including accommodation and orientation information.
  
  

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent in HR, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Previous experience in education counseling or student advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of international education systems, visa process, application requirements, quality checking and admission processes.
• Experience in Europe or Australian visa processing or counselling is viewed upon favourably.
• Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Empathy and patience to handle the concerns of students and their families.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
