Job Summary:
The Costing Assistant supports the finance and accounting teams by assisting in the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of cost data. This role involves collecting, recording, and analyzing financial information related to production costs, helping ensure accurate pricing, cost control, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:

A. Cost Data Management:
  • Assist in collecting and compiling cost information for various products and services.
  • Maintain and update costing sheets and databases regularly.
  • Record all cost-related transactions in the system accurately.
B. Cost Analysis:
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for new products or services.
  • Support the costing team in performing cost-benefit analyses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
C. Reporting:
  • Prepare costing reports and summaries as required by management.
D. Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all cost data is compliant with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all costing records.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cost accounting, finance, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., LN-Infor, Baan).
