1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. is looking for a Floral Designer for their Ft. Lauderdale, MDC. The ideal candidate should have a creative background and enjoy working as a team to meet work deadlines. They must be able to identify most flowers by name and have basic floral handling and processing knowledge.
Responsibilities :
Fill design recipes to company standards.Maintenance of Plants and Dish Gardens.Keep cooler clean and organized.Ensure compliance to all FDA standards.Assist in other departments when necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of floral design experience.
Bilingual, a plus.
Be able to lift up to 40lbs.
Able to stand and work in hot / cold temps for an extend period of time.
Must be well organized.
Good attention to detail, math, and organization skills.
Must be Flexible and willing to work longer hours during holidays.
Must be able to work weekends.
