The Permits Analyst will be responsible for retrieving permits from multiple cities, townships, and states. The permits are highly important since they are needed for our installers to be able to work on the customer’s home for installing any of our home improvement products. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to use problem solving skills.

What You’ll Do:
- Contacting cities, townships and states to learn about the permits process for their area
- Informing the city, township and/or state what type of install is taking place on the customer’s home and purchasing the permit
- Entering notes into the customer’s personal profile in our computer system. This helps the project coordinators, schedulers and processors understand where we are at with the permits process
- Update information whenever needed; for example, when there is a new hire in the city, township or state so we know who our point of contact person is at all times
- Participate in process documentation and improvement discussions, peer to peer training, and be open to completing special projects as needed by the company.

- Must have basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain sitting in a stationary position for prolonged periods
- Requires the ability to move about inside the office
- Must be able to move items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, vendors, and the public
- Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printe
Hours/Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year. Standard hours are M – F, 8:00 – 5:00 but due to cyclical nature of position, some overtime, including evening and weekend hours, may be required to complete projects under deadlines. Some local and statewide travel may be required.
Salary : $17
