Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a key strategic role responsible for driving revenue growth, developing industry partnerships, and expanding market share within the contents restoration industry. The ideal candidate will be a proactive sales leader with experience in the restoration or insurance industry, skilled in building relationships with insurance adjusters, restoration contractors, and property managers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and strategic prospecting.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire insurance carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), restoration contractors, and property management companies.
- Drive revenue growth through referral-based lead generation and repeat business development.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with insurance adjusters, mitigation companies, restoration firms, and commercial property managers.
- Act as the trusted liaison between clients and our restoration teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Monitor client satisfaction and develop customized solutions based on client needs.
3. Market Research & Industry Insights
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and new growth opportunities.
- Leverage data to develop territory expansion plans and enhance service offerings.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, insurance claim processes, and restoration best practices.
4. Strategic Partnerships & Networking
- Establish partnerships with insurance carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), mitigation specialists, and large-scale restoration firms.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and generate leads.

5. Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and digital campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.

- Strong network within the insurance, mitigation, and restoration sectors preferred.
- Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts and develop strong industry relationships.
