Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing layouts.
• Support skilled plumbers on construction sites by providing necessary tools and materials.
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
• Participate in remodeling projects by assisting with plumbing modifications.
• Develop mechanical knowledge through hands-on training in various plumbing techniques.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary to ensure integrated system functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Qualifications

• A strong interest in pursuing a career in plumbing or related fields.
• Basic understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with basic math concepts for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is preferred; experience with tools is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints is advantageous.
• Previous experience in construction plumbing or field service roles is beneficial but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.21 - $19.80 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
