We’re expanding in Lakeland and looking for a Sales Manager who’s not afraid to chase deals, build community relationships, and scale alongside a growing team.
The Role
We’re seeking a high-performing, self-starting Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, build and lead local sales initiatives, and develop strategic relationships across central Florida. You’ll be part hunter, part closer, part coach—and 100% essential to our next stage of scale.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, closing, and relationship management.
- Build and execute a go-to-market strategy across commercial real estate, retail centers, municipalities, and general contractors.
- Partner with the operations team to deliver seamless service and 5-star results.
- Represent 1-800-STRIPER at local networking events, industry meetups, and community orgs.
- Help shape our local brand as the face of sales in the Lakeland, Tampa and Orlando markets.
Who You Are
- A motivated, disciplined closer with a proven track record in construction, paving, sealing, or related B2B service sales.
- Comfortable in both steel-toe boots and boardrooms—you know how to connect with contractors and CEOs alike.
- Highly organized with CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Obsessed with metrics, momentum, and follow-through.
- A natural networker who thrives on building relationships and opening doors.
- Energized by autonomy but aligned to a shared mission.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years in B2B sales (construction, trades, or facility services strongly preferred)
- Self-starter mindset—you thrive with autonomy and own your outcomes
- Great with people: You’re just as comfortable walking a job site as you are presenting to a property manager
- Strong CRM and pipeline management habits
- Local knowledge of Central Florida (Lakeland/Orlando/Tampa)
Qualifications
Required:
- 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales management, ideally in construction, property services, or trades.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong account management skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Local market knowledge in Lakeland/Central Florida.
Preferred:
- Experience in asphalt, concrete, paving, or parking lot maintenance industries.
- Existing relationships in the commercial property or facilities management space.
- Management or team leadership experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- OTE: $75,000–$100K with Uncapped Commissions
