Responsibilities
- Write and manage internal and external newsletters
- Assist with marketing campaigns and content development
- Oversee and grow our social media presence
- Support updates and compliance for Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD) and Franchise Agreements (FA)
- Collaborate with the national team on branding and communication efforts
- Jump into new projects with energy and offer ideas that move the brand forward
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Write, edit, and proofread press releases, articles, and other promotional materials to ensure clarity and adherence to style guidelines.
- Manage social media platforms by creating engaging content that resonates with our audience while monitoring interactions and feedback.
- Conduct research to identify trends in the industry and develop content that addresses current topics of interest.
- Build and maintain relationships with media representatives to facilitate effective media coverage of organizational initiatives.
- Prepare for public speaking engagements by developing presentations and key messages that effectively communicate our mission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Experience
- Proven experience in media relations, public relations, or journalism is required.
- Strong skills in writing, editing, proofreading, and researching are essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and strategies is highly desirable.
- Excellent public speaking abilities to represent the organization at various events confidently.
