Job Summary
The Water Damage Restoration Business Developer will play a crucial role in growing our referral base through strategic marketing campaigns and establishing strong industry relationships with current networks.
This position's primary goal is to double our brand awareness through traditional and targeted campaigns for existing referral sources and expand our overall referral base by consistently acquiring 20 new referral relationships weekly.
The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate with insurance adjusters, property owners, and internal staff.
Responsibilities
- IDentify and market to various referral sources
- Develop long-term relationships with key referral sources to secure jobs
- Attend key events and association meetings to cultivate new referral sources
- Manage marketing materials and order necessary items for referral cultivation
- Manage swag and leave-behind gifts/food for referral sources within budget
- Operate email campaigns for event cultivation and top-of-mind brand awareness
- Collaborate with internal staff to stay informed on all referral sources' jobs
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience meeting with customers and qualifying leads
- Demonstrated past sales performance showing consistent growth over time
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite of software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Email marketing experience using Constant Contact or MailChimp
- CRM management experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to communicate effectively with all potential referral sources
