Armed Security Guard

In need of BSIS licensed Security Guards with BSIS Exposed Firearm licenses.

Schedule:

Monday to Sunday 10am to 9pm

Monday to Sunday 11am to 10pm

BSIS Licensed guards provide armed security. Provide proactive safety and security to the facility, staff, and visitors. Conduct random/routine security checks throughout the site. Enforce established policies, procedures, and post orders. Complete daily activity logs and any other duties as required.

Duties include:

• Providing protection to the staff and other individuals
• Enforce established policies, procedures, and other post orders
• Complete incident logs as required

Requirements:

• Must possess current BSIS California Guard Registration card
• Must possess current BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit
• Possess HS diploma or GED equivalent
• Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States

Security Officers are expected to respond competently to any situation that may arise while supporting the client. We are looking for professionals with a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to work flexible hours.

Requirements:

• Must possess current BSIS Guard Card
• Must possess current BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit
• Must possess permits for any less lethal equipment.
• Full duty belt preferred:
• Bullet Resistant Vest preferred.
• Must possess Firearm.
• Level 3 Duty Holster preferred.
• Mace/Pepper Spray preferred.
• Baton preferred
• Handcuffs preferred.
• Must Possess a minimum of HS Diploma or GED
• Must be proficient in reading, writing and communicating in English.
• Minimum 1 year experience performing the duties of an armed security officer preferred.
• Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour
