Responsibilities
- Sell parts over the counter to counter retail customers and technicians
- Handle telephone parts orders called in by retail accounts
- Promote additional parts sales by suggesting related items, seasonal lines, and/or parts specialists
- Conduct regular telephone solicitation on assigned accounts
- Clean, revise, and update parts displays as directed
- Inform customers when parts specially ordered for them are received
- Determine correct parts numbers and “pick” parts for orders received
- Arrange for delivery or shipment of parts as required
- Prepare and cost out parts invoices
- Help maintain parts stock in orderly condition
- Assist with regular parts inventories and the selection of parts for return under parts obsolescence protection program
- Assist in physical re-arrangement of layout
- Attend group training sessions as required
