Fire Extinguisher Inspector

DRIVER'S LICENSE AND VEHICLE ARE REQUIRED.
Our office is located at 3272 Steinway St. Astoria, NY 11103

Job Type: Full-time Pay: Starting from $850.00 per week

Inspectors' duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Reporting to the office at 8 am for the assigned route (5-10 stops daily)
• Driving to each location in the assigned route and making contact with the customer
• Performing inspections of fire extinguishers, and recording pertinent information on a mobile app
• Obtaining signatures from customers, informing them of any recommendations/ deficiencies
• Occasionally inspecting other fire safety equipment (smoke/Co detectors, Emit/Emergency Lights, Fire Hoses, etc.) in accordance with NYC/State/Federal Fire Codes
• Calling dispatch to troubleshoot any issues in the field

Our service areas are:

• NYC Five Boroughs (Manhattan, Queens, Brookly, The Bronx, Staten Island)
• Westchester Co.
• NJ
• Each route will have stops in at least one of these areas.
