Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques and procedures, with experience in histology, molecular biology, and data collection. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic research laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests, procedures, and analyses accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct histology work including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining
- Assist in research development projects by preparing samples and conducting experiments
- Adhere to FDA regulations and maintain compliance with laboratory protocols
- Collect and record data accurately for analysis
- Assist in animal physiology studies as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Biology, Biochemistry, or a relevant scientific discipline
- Proven experience working in a laboratory setting
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate records
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of research laboratory practices and safety protocols
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
