Urgent Hiring- Commercial Lines Manager

Location- Solon, OH

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations & President, the Commercial Lines Manager will provide high level leadership and management to our commercial lines department.

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage team member s book of business (new and renewal) for small to middle market commercial accounts.
• Assigning new accounts from agents to proper service team members considering industry, renewal dates, and workload.
• Conducting both team/department meetings as well as one-on-one / annual reviews for employees.
• Utilize the agency management system (Applied EPIC) for all tailored reporting, servicing, downloads, eDocs, and processing tasks related to team and client needs.
• Adding new carriers to agency management system, carrier/third party login management, and maintaining carrier contact information.
• Distributing relevant mail or emails to the team including carrier updates / training opportunities.
• Oversee accurate, thoughtful, and prompt services to all clients and related client s stakeholders within 24 hours of when the request comes from the client.
• Hold team accountable for policy renewal processes.
• Continuously educate your knowledge of the property and casualty markets with the help of agency resources to team members.
• Oversee the agency s account proposals, summaries of coverage, submissions and presentations using various Microsoft office products.
• Ability to be a key liaison between Producers/Sales Agents and clients, as well as between the agency and carrier partners.
• Setting and tracking department goals and metrics.
• Work with VP Operations / Office Manager on staff scheduling requests and PTO to ensure consistency on the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of similar related work experience required handling commercial insurance accounts and department leadership; 5 plus years preferred.
• Ability to ensure exceptional client service to all accounts within your team s assigned book of business.
• High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor s degree preferred.
• Current active driver s license required.
• Active Ohio Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
• Experience using an agency management system (Applied EPIC) preferred.
