**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the financial planning and analysis of Nexii's industry leading panel manufacturing, instrumental in its client's construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in cost estimation. You will collaborate closely with sales, project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide detailed cost assessments and recommendations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Cost Estimation:** In support of Sales, prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- **Analysis and Reporting:** Analyze project specifications, CAD designs, blueprints, and other documentation to develop comprehensive cost assessments and report findings to management.
- **Budget Management:** Assist in the development and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and project goals.
- **Risk Assessment:** Identify potential risks and provide mitigation strategies to minimize financial impact on projects.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with sales, project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather relevant data and ensure accurate cost projections.
- **Market Research:** Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to provide informed estimates and recommendations.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation for manufacturing of discreet components in support of construction projects, with a focus on sustainable building practices preferred.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage, or similar).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of green building standards and sustainability practices is a plus.
