Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues within heavy equipment.
- Perform repairs and replace parts as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Execute preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Utilize electronic diagnostic tools for precision repairs.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to guide repairs.
- Maintain accurate repair logs and documentation of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and electrical components (AC/DC).
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation and schematics.
- Welding and rigging experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with various types of heavy machinery (e.g., cranes, hydraulic winches) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as business needs require.
- Must provide own basic tools; larger equipment will be supplied.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential for this role.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check to ensure insurability on company vehicles.
