Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, and loaders.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance checks and services to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents to aid in repairs.
- Order parts and maintain inventory for completed repairs.
- Document all repairs, maintenance conducted, and parts used in service logs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment within the shop.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic and repair tools used in the field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
