ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Set up and adjust extrusion equipment according to production specifications and work orders.
- Monitor the extrusion process to ensure proper operation and product quality.
- Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper material flow.

- Perform routine maintenance on extrusion equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Report major equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel or supervisors.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate production logs and machine maintenance records.
- Track material usage and ensure proper documentation.
- Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills:
- Experience with extrusion machinery and related tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and production schedules.
- Familiarity with measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (e.g., up to 50 lbs).
- Standing for extended periods and working in a manufacturing environment.
