Mobile Phlebotomist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection in various locations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will provide essential services that contribute to patient care and laboratory efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood sampling and specimen collection from patients in diverse settings.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the safety and integrity of samples.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Process specimens according to established protocols, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Monitor and record vital signs as necessary during patient interactions.
• Provide exceptional patient service, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding the procedure.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely delivery of specimens for testing.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices in phlebotomy.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to phlebotomy procedures.
• Proficiency in blood sampling techniques and specimen collection processing.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to laboratory practices.
• Experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills.
• Understanding of laboratory techniques and procedures related to specimen handling.
• Ability to perform vital sign assessments as part of patient care.
• Previous experience in a mobile or field-based healthcare role is preferred but not required.
