Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional looking to be at the center of operations for a growing plumbing company? 1-Tom-Plumber of SW Florida is seeking a Dispatcher / Office Administrator to support our fast-paced service business. We specialize in plumbing and drain cleaning services for residential, commercial, and property management clients.
As a key member of our team, you will ensure efficient scheduling, clear communication between technicians and customers, and accurate administrative support. If you thrive in a high-energy environment, excel in customer service, and enjoy problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Pay: $20 – $25 per hour based on experience.
What You’ll Do:
Dispatch and Scheduling:
- Schedule and dispatch service calls to technicians efficiently.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer demands.
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely service completion and address field concerns.
- Coordinate emergency service requests and prioritize urgent jobs.
Customer Communication:
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and provide service updates to customers.
- Maintain professional and friendly communication with clients, ensuring excellent customer experience.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate job records, work orders, and technician schedules.
- Process invoices, collect payments, and assist with billing inquiries.
- Keep detailed records of service calls, ensuring proper documentation and follow-ups.
- Assist in maintaining office organization and administrative tasks.
What We’re Looking For (Experience and Skills):
- 2 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, or office administration (plumbing or home services industry preferred).
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and CRM tools (experience with ServiceTitan or similar is a plus).
- Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure.
- A team player with a proactive and professional attitude.
